Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking for a leisurely 5km stroll, this event promises an unforgettable experience for everyone. And we have just the gear to get you Hiking ready.
February 16 & 17 – 5 km Fun Walk at Meerendal: Ideal for Families
Bring the whole family for a delightful 5km Fun Walk at Meerendal. The scenic route is perfect for families, offering a chance to enjoy nature and each other’s company. For this relaxed walk, consider gearing up with the GEO-Nakuru for extra comfort, that feels as if you’re walking on clouds. Friday evening’s 5km hike starts at 6pm so our newly launched Tech ¼ zip fleeces may come in handy as you might to layer up! Saturday morning’s 5km starts at 7am and because we’re still in the middle of summer, our GEO active tees and spike shorts are sure to keep you cool in the warmer weather.
February 17 – Hiking in the Surrounding Farm Areas: 12.5km or 25km
For those seeking a bit more challenge, venture into the surrounding farm areas for a 12.5km or 25km hike. Tougher challenges requires more technical gear, which is why we recommend the V-Lite Psych for men and women. This hiking boot is feather light over long distances and offers enough support and grip to keep you safe and sturdy on the more intense trails. We also have the Trail Zip off pants which is convenient, especially over long distances… Have them long and you start and zip them off incase the heat becomes too much.
