Committed to conservation and research, education and outreach, the Cape Leopard Trust aligns with Hi-Tec's vision of safeguarding endangered Wildlife and teaching others how to care and protect our natural environment. Hi-Tec is proud to support the Cape Leopard Trust (CLT) with gear for a number of their researchers and trackers, as well as for their outreach projects.
HI-TEC have over the past 9 years assisted with apparel, footwear, and accessories for educational camps and in-field researchers. These camps are aimed at inspiring and uplifting underprivileged children, giving them the opportunity to experience the freedom of the outdoors and learn about the importance of nature and conservation. HI-TEC also funded a new log cabin at Rietgat, Cederburg to ensure the team’s gear is stored safely.
In 2019, the CLT team received new co-branded Hi-Tec waterproof jackets and accessories for kids in the educational programs and in 2020 each CLT team member was equipped with the Hi-Tec Apparel Bush Range.
