Tell us about your ultimate bucket list dream, and you could be the next Hi-Tec ambassador, receiving R100k to make it a reality
How to enter:
- Record a short video:
Record a video (1-2 minutes) introducing yourself, showcasing your passion for adventure, and explaining your bucket list dream. - Submit your entry:
You can submit your entry in one of two ways:
Email: Send your submission video, and evidence of past adventures (photos, videos, blog posts, or links to relevant social media content to moments@hi-tec.co.za.
Social media: Post your video on your social media profile (Instagram or TikTok). Ensure your profile is set to public so Hi-Tec can view your entry and tag @Hitec_sa in your post.
Submit a written motivation (Optional but Encouraged):
With the rest of your entry provide a written motivation (maximum 300 words) explaining why you should be selected as the next Hi-Tec ambassador.
Judging Criteria:
Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Your Big Adventure (40%): We want to hear about your ultimate goal. Be specific, creative, and make us believe in your dream. Whether it’s an epic first-time challenge or a once-in-a-lifetime expedition, tell us how this adventure will push your limits and inspire others.
- Your Personality & Storytelling (30%): Show us who you are! Why does this adventure matter to you? What’s the deeper motivation behind it? Use video, writing, or any creative medium to bring your passion and excitement to life.
- Your Impact & Influence (20%): You don’t need to be a big influencer, but you must have at least 500 followers on Instagram or TikTok. How will you document your journey and connect with others? Are you active in your community, either online or offline? How do you share your experiences in a unique and meaningful way?
- Your Commitment as an Ambassador (10%): We’re looking for someone who is excited to represent Hi-Tec and share their journey with us. You’ll need to create content (photos, videos, blog posts, or updates) throughout your adventure, with a passion for the outdoors, adventure, and inspiring others.
If you win – what is required:
- Create at least four pieces of content per month for the duration of their sponsorship.
- Wear sponsored Hi-Tec gear during their adventure.
- Attend at least one Hi-Tec event or campaign shoot.
- Document their adventure through videos, photos, and social media posts.
- Share regular updates (monthly) with the brand and on their social media platforms.
- Participate in a docu-style video filmed by a professional film crew for Hi-Tec to create video content showcasing their adventure. This content may include interviews, behind-the-scenes footage of adventure preparation, and potentially parts of the trip itself.
- Participate in the video voluntarily with no financial compensation
