This was the best and most versatile item of clothing I took on my summertime cruise to Alaska in late April and early May. I wore it almost daily and took it with on all my shore excursions. I loved that I could strip off the topmost layer if I got too hot on a hike and just wear the fleece, or that I could use the waterproof membrane alone on warmer days. I also appreciate that the hood tucks in, and would love it if there were different coloured fleeces that I could mix and match with it.
